What you need to study for SSC MTS

SSC has introduced a revised syllabus format that includes only a computer-based examination without a tier-2 phase. If you are one of the students who does not frequently use a computer, it will be a good idea to start learning the basics now.

Subjects you need to be preparing are:

Mathematics

Exam Pattern for the SSC MTS 2024

The revised exam structure for the SSC MTS consists of two sessions of 45 minutes each.

Sessions 1 include:

  1. Numerical and mathematical ability
  2. Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving

Both subjects consist of 20 questions each, with a total of 60 marks.

Session 2 includes:

  1. General Awareness
  2. English Language and Comprehension

Both of the subjects consist of 50 questions each, with a total of 150 marks.

Selection Process for the Exam

The selection process for the SSC MTS exam includes:

  1. Computer-Based Test
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (only for the post of Havaldar)
